THE PANIC ROOM - THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PROTECTION

WHAT IS A PANIC ROOM OR SAFE ROOM?

A PANIC ROOM, also known as a “SAFE ROOM,” is a room in your home that is completely concealed and provides the highest level of protection for your family.
A safe room is typically built in areas of the home that are most frequently used, such as the bedroom, closet, kitchen, living room, and others.
The purpose of the room is to provide protection in the event of a break-in intended for theft or personal assault.

Imagine you are at home and suddenly realize that someone has broken into your property. Before you assess the situation, it is best to immediately run to the safe room and lock it from the inside. From there, you are in a safe place, from which you can calmly analyse the situation and take the necessary actions.
What actions should you take? We’ll teach you in our training…

EQUIPMENT FOR A SAFETY ROOM

Once you enter the panic room, it offers you a safe temporary refuge for a sufficiently long stay until law enforcement arrives.
Each room is equipped with various systems for air supply, electricity, monitoring, alternative communications, and security technologies to prevent intrusion.
The door to the secure room is a "vault door" type, and breaching it would take many hours of effort by people with specialized equipment, while with normal means the door is completely impenetrable.
At BUNKER BG, we conduct an analysis of the room that will be converted into a panic room, ensuring it can accommodate all family members in a critical situation.

DISCREET DESIGN AND BENEFITS

A safe room can be concealed in a variety of ways. We take into account the interior design and all available options to ensure the room is as difficult as possible to detect.
We work with proven manufacturers of high-quality furniture who can design and execute any interior solution and seamlessly integrate it as an essential part of your security.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING A SAFE ROOM?

The benefit of any form of protection you can provide for yourself and your family is to live and sleep peacefully, without worrying about unexpected events in the future.

Some people have security guards and video surveillance, believing that this is entirely sufficient. The truth is, there are events that can quickly deprive them of security, and video surveillance alone is not a defense against malicious individuals—it merely confirms their presence.

A safe room offers many benefits, the greatest of which is true peace of mind. Once inside, you are fully protected and have enough time to think through your next steps — time that can prove invaluable in certain situations. The room can be equipped with survival gear, food supplies, weapons, and valuables. This room is a fortress in your home!

WHEN AND HOW CAN I ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SAFE ROOM?

A safe room can be built at any time:

1.    For an existing home – we assess the layout and recommend which existing room is most suitable and exactly how it can be adapted.

2.    When building a new home – the best time for us to get involved is while you’re still in the design phase, because that’s when we can plan security in the best possible way, and the options for equipment are almost unlimited.

STEPS TO GET A PANIC ROOM

1.    MEETING – we will discuss your needs and the options available to you;
2.    SITE VISIT – if the home already exists, we will conduct a site visit and analyze the space;
3.    DESIGN CONTRACT – includes the Brief, Conceptual Design, and Technical Design phase for the installations, their positioning, and coordination;
4.    CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT – we specify the price and deadlines for completion;
5.    HANDOVER – you will receive training on how to use the systems, which includes not only how to operate them but also how to prepare for a real-life situation. You will undergo special training for this purpose.

LEVELS OF EQUIPMENT:

At BUNKER BG, we offer three levels of equipment tailored to the customer’s needs:
