Pistol, Edged Weapons, and Unarmed Self-Defense 1. Firearm Safety — Theory and Live Demonstration The foundation of the entire training program. You will master the cardinal rules of safe weapon handling, storage, and concealed carry, as well as proper conduct on the range and at home. The instructor demonstrates every procedure live before participants execute it under direct supervision.
2. Malfunctions and Stoppages — Theory and Live Demonstration Any firearm can malfunction at the worst possible moment. You will learn to identify the most common types of stoppages and respond calmly and systematically to clear the malfunction and get the weapon back into action quickly and safely.
3. Static / Marksmanship Shooting — Practical Hands-on live firing with pistols, carbines, and shotguns. You will develop proper grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control—the core mechanics upon which all subsequent modules build. Every participant works with all three weapon platforms to feel the operational differences between them.
1. Close-Quarter Shooting Real-world incidents happen at close range, not at dozens of meters. You will practice rapid drawing, shooting from compact positions, and maintaining distance from the attacker.
2. Shooting from Cover and Concealment How to properly use walls, corners, vehicles, and furniture as protection. The difference between cover and concealment, and how to work behind them without exposing yourself unnecessarily.
3. Ambidextrous Shooting (Left- and Right-Handed) In a real-life incident, your dominant hand may be occupied or injured. We train shooting and weapon manipulations with both hands so your defense does not rely on a single position.
4. Shooting on the Move If you stand still, you become a static target. You will learn to move forward, backward, and laterally while maintaining weapon control and accuracy.
5. Shooting in Tight Corridors and Rooms The specifics of home environments: doors, hallways, and stairwells. How to safely navigate confined spaces and protect your family inside your residence.
6. Dynamic Stress-Shooting Scenarios The culmination of the module: realistic scenarios featuring time pressure, physical exertion, and decision-making. Here, you test how well your skills hold up when your heart rate is spiking.
Emergency Supplies & Medical Preparation. Life-Saving First Aid. 1. First Aid Algorithm A clear sequence of actions designed to work under stress: scene assessment, personal safety, casualty prioritization, and calling for emergency services.
2. Casualty Assessment A rapid and systematic evaluation: consciousness, breathing, and circulation. How to assess the severity of the situation in seconds.
3. Identifying Life-Threatening Injuries Which conditions kill fastest and how to recognize them early, allowing you to focus your efforts where they matter most.
4. Patient Monitoring During Transport What to monitor and how to keep the casualty stable while en route to a medical facility.
5. First Aid for Absence of Normal Breathing and Cardiac Arrest Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)—hands-on training on mannequins to build confidence and technique.
6. First Aid for Airway Obstruction Recognizing and responding immediately to choking in both adults and children.
Specialized Section: • Hemorrhage Control — Managing massive bleeding, pressure dressings, and tourniquet application; • First Aid for Stab, Cut, and Gunshot Wounds; • First Aid for Open Injuries to the Head, Chest, and Abdomen, and Impaled Objects; • First Aid for Fractures, Dislocations, and Sprains. Emergency Kit / Safe Bag — Contents and Setup Building your personal emergency bag: essential items to include, how to organize them, and strategic placement so every family member knows how to use it.
1. Risk Analysis — Key Warning Signs Building situational awareness: how to "read" your environment, recognize early warning signs of danger, and react before a situation escalates.
2. Evacuation Routes Planning primary and alternative routes from your home and workplace. When to leave, what to take with you, and how to avoid traffic bottlenecks and high-risk zones.
3. Supply Points Along the Route Gas stations, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other key locations—how to map them in advance and integrate them into your family evacuation plan.
4. Legal Framework for Firearm Use and Proportionate Response What Bulgarian legislation permits and prohibits regarding self-defense. The legal boundaries of necessary defense and how to act lawfully and protectively.
5. Dynamic Counter-Action — Field Response According to the Situation Flexible decision-making: when to avoid conflict, when to withdraw, and when fighting back is your only option.
6. Basics of Self-Defense — Solo and With Family Tactics change drastically when you are with children or loved ones. Role allocation within the family, who does what, and how to move as a group.
7. Emergency Preparedness — Skills, Gear, Plan Bringing everything together into an actionable personal and family crisis action plan: communication, rendezvous points, gear, and periodic drills.
Essential Survival Techniques for Evacuating to Your Personal Shelter 1. Shelter How to build an improvised shelter with minimal resources to protect against wind, rain, and cold. Site selection, materials, and the most common mistakes that cost you heat and safety.
2. Fire and Water Making and lighting a fire in diverse conditions, as well as sourcing, filtering, and purifying water—the two indispensable skills for wilderness survival.
3. Map Navigation Working with a topographic map and compass: determining your position, taking bearings, and route planning without reliance on phones or GPS.
Real-World Scenarios and Incident Response 1. Surveillance and Early-Warning Plan How to organize the surveillance of your home or property: fields of view, lighting, sensors, and cameras integrated into a unified early-warning security system.
2. Patrols and Defensive Positions Identifying key defensive points on your property: anticipating threat vectors, locating advantageous firing positions, and moving around the property without exposing yourself to unnecessary risk.
3. Defensive Equipment (Firearms and Ammunition) How to select and position your defensive gear based on your home’s layout, and how to store equipment legally and safely—especially when children are present in the residence.
4. Final Scenarios — Live Action Stress-Test Drills The course culminates in comprehensive scenarios that integrate skills from all modules—from threat identification and active defense to first aid and family evacuation. This transfers knowledge into practical, stress-tested muscle memory. You will undergo practical, scenario-based training simulating complex, high-risk situations where you witness or experience an active threat. You will test your personal reactions and applied knowledge under pressure, followed by an objective debrief and actionable insights to enhance your property security and family protection strategy.
